TAG Heuer Men's Formula 1 Professional Watch
I love the watch. has good weight to it. I coach so it is fine for hitting baseballs or to wear while coaching football. I was going to get an Omega Speedmaster but have decided to wait and purchased the Tag as an everyday watch. If you need something for everyday and are very active i would say grab this watch, even at $650 it is totally worth it. When i had a link taken out from my local jewelry store I got several comments on it and noticed they had the same watch for $1100."
A little more than I prefer to spend, but if you want a High Quality Watch for less than $1000....This Is It !"
Product Features
Ideal for casual attire, this TAG Heuer Formula 1 timepiece is a great choice for athletes thanks to the sporty titanium unidirectional bezel printed with large, silver-tone Arabic numerals in increments of five. Its impressive scratch-resistant sapphire-coated dial window reveals a black dial with silver-tone hour indicators, small minute indexes, and luminescent silver-tone hands. This watch also offers a triple-link stainless steel bracelet, date window at 3 o'clock, precise Swiss quartz movement, and water resistance to 200 meters (660 feet)--which will stand up to the rigors of recreational scuba diving. TAG Heuer traces its roots to the small Swiss village of St-Imier where, in 1860, a watchmaker named Edouard Heuer opened his first shop. His vision was to create remarkable timepieces that pushed the envelope of innovation and precision. The company's reputation grew, and Heuer's first patent for a chronograph mechanism in 1882 was followed by a long list of achievements: the first stopwatch accurate to 1/100 of a second, the first dashboard stopwatch for race cars, the first miniature electronic timekeeping device accurate to 1/1000th of a second, and the first automatic movement with a microrotor, to name just a few. Over the years, Heuer's reputation for gold-standard precision earned the company the privilege of providing official timing services for a number of world-class competitive sporting events, including the Olympic Games, the FIS Ski World Cup, and the FIA Formula 1 World Championships. To this day, TAG Heuer maintains a close association with the world of competitive sports and enjoys a devoted following among sports celebrities and enthusiasts. In 1985, Heuer joined the TAG (Techniques D'Avant-Garde) group, and the TAG Heuer name and logo were created. Now one of the most recognized and sought-after watch brands in the world, TAG Heuer continues its reputation of innovative design and technological excellence, creating prestigious timepieces that are always at the cutting edge of precision, reliability and style. Tag Heuer Formula 1 Indy 500 Review - Cool, Hip and Totally Tag! Are you ready to pull the trigger on a Tag Heuer Formula 1 Indy 500? I was in the same boat 4 months ago before my wife bought me one on my 31st birthday. I've been a watch fanatic for years collecting a variety of luxury timekeepers, but this one is a real treat. First Impressions: In actuality, I had no idea I was a TAG guy until I wore my Indy 500 model # CAC111B.BA0850. The best way I can describe it is "sporty" and "sophisticated". It definitely draws attention (I've had a few beautiful ladies comment on it so don't tell my wife), yet not in an over-the-top way. It's the perfect watch to project an aura of confidence and success with a youthful, sporty vibe. TAG Heuer Formula 1 Indy 500 Features: This beautiful work of art comes with all the attention to detail and features that make it a TAG. Features include quartz movement, water resistant to 200 m, scratch resistance sapphire crystal, steel case, and a precision dial with luminescent hour-markers and hands. The TAG Look: The thing I really like about it is the rugged look and feel. Not only does it have a look of authority and sportiness, it features some of the best craftsmanship I've ever seen in a watch. Built To Last: Cheap does not apply here. The TAG Indy 500 is sturdy, reliable, and durable for the most adverse conditions. So far, I've worn mine skiing, hiking, mountain biking, scuba diving, and lawn moving. You can probably tell I'm an active guy! I have not had any problems. FYI, one comment I've heard from a few other owners is that the battery replacement is a bit expensive at $100. With a battery life of 20 months and warranty period of 2 years, it shouldn't cost you anything for 4 years. Regardless, $100 is a minimal expense to pay when you consider how reliable and superior this luxury watch is. The Verdict: Owning a TAG has been one of the most gratifying experiences of my life. I love going to business meetings, out for dinner, and playing golf with the company of my Indy 500. It gives me a complete feeling of confidence and success that makes me feel great! Before you pull the trigger on a Tag Heuer Indy 500, make sure you're purchasing from an authorized dealer. There is nothing more disappointing than being ripped off.
